The artistic and design research projects of the Sound Studies Lab are executed in cooperation with specialized institutions in the arts, design, science and the humanities. The projects are funded by the most renowned national and european research funding institutions (DFG, EFRE/ESF et.al.) – as well as the most important cultural funding institutions and distributors (e.g. Deutschlandradio, Haus der Kulturen der Welt) and dedicated partners from the developping and producing industry.
The funding extends to individual scholarships, to broader, project-based research cooperations with research institutions and research funds or to basic funding of the Sound Studies Lab. The Sound Studies Lab is open to cooperations with research institutions, with universities or with small companies and corporations dedicated to designing, producing and distribution in the field of sound & sensory culture.
