This summer the Sound Studies Lab offers a workshop for students of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and selected students from other Berlin universities: under the title Displace we will explore together the cultural practices and artforms of soundscape, soundwalk & audiowalk. Being or feeling displaced, deterritorialized or dislocated will be the focus of our artistic design research in Berlin. The workshop is part of this semester’s focus on Auditive Kultur & Sound Studies and its results shall be presented on the final date of the lecture series KlangDenken.
