Thinking Through Sound I: Listening to the Environment

Workshop I: Listening to the Environment
with Peter Cusack (University of the Arts, London)

This is the first of four workshops of the series »Thinking Through Sound« in which we will focus on the epistemic qualities of sound in different settings. For each workshop we invite an expert to conduct and discuss their mode of »sonic thinking« as a tool to approach and investigate a certain field of interest. While the first workshop tries to update approaches to sonically conceived environments the following sessions will cover forensics, improvisation, and applied sciences.

The workshop series is organised by members of the monthly colloquium »Sonic Thinking«.
